Mat Franco – Magic Reinvented Nightly is set to return to the Mat Franco Theater at the Linq on April 29, scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. Thursday through Monday with an additional 9:30 p.m. show on Saturday. It will be Franco’s first time on the Las Vegas stage since the pandemic shuttered the Strip in March 2020, and the America’s Got Talent champion-turned-Strip headliner has revamped his show.
“The new production … is the most slick and modern adaption to date,” Franco said in a statement. “I’m super stoked about the new scenic elements, lighting design and magic. Most importantly, I want the heart and soul of the show to emanate from the unrepeatable rapport that is developed with each and every audience.”
Franco worked with director Brian Burke of AGT, who has collaborated on all the magician’s live performances on the TV show over the years, to create a new version of his show. Burke has produced and directed other Vegas productions including Celestia and Le Réve and musical residencies from Celine Dion, Pitbull and Lionel Richie.
Just before COVID struck, Franco was celebrating his fifth anniversary of performing at the Linq and had inked a deal for five more years in his own theater. He pivoted quickly during the pandemic and began performing virtually on Facebook Live in April from his home. In November, he made plans to reopen his Strip show on December 17, but tightening restrictions and limited capacities over the challenging winter prevented those plans from taking place.
Tickets for Franco’s show at the Linq go on sale Friday, March 26 at 10 a.m.
