Due to its continuing popularity with visitors, the "Warhol Out West” exhibit at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts has extended its exhibition run through Jan. 2, 2014.
The exhibit, which opened Feb. 8 after "Claude Monet: Impressions of Light,” was originally slated to close Oct. 27.
“Since its opening in February, ‘Warhol Out West’ has welcomed visitors from around the world and across all generations,” BGFA Executive Director Tarissa Tiberti said in a statement. “We’ve had an incredibly positive response and want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to see this unique collection, which spans Warhol’s multifaceted career.”
“Warhol Out West” was organized in partnership with Pittsburgh’s Andy Warhol Museum and features 56 paintings, sculptures, photographs, screen prints and wallpaper by the pop art icon centered around Western themes, including his rare “Cowboys and Indians” series.
Tickets are $16 for general admission, $13 for Nevada residents and seniors and $11 for students, teachers and military with valid ID. Children ages 12 and younger are free.
The BGFA is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit the Bellagio website.
