More than a dozen artists from all over the world are descending on Downtown this week, transforming shuttered motels, parking garages and plain old walls into works of art that will live long past the Foo Fighters’ final chords. Pieces include Irish artist Maser’s stripey installation (1), Fintan Magee’s fantastical scene (2), Li-Hill’s sculptural work (3), Roa’s horny toad (complete with shooting blood) (5) and a whimsical wall by locals Sush Machida and Tim Bavington (4)—all helping turn the ’hood into an urban art gallery, and making life a little more beautiful.
