Park on Fremont on the active corner of Fremont Street and Las Vegas Boulevard is now closed for a renovation that will expand its popular patio space, its menu and more. The new 2,200-square-foot outdoor space will feature more seating and larger tables when Park reopens in the spring. Plans to refresh the menu include a new focus on elevated hamburgers, sandwiches and comfort foods. More live entertainment is in the works for the patio, too.
The Beast by Todd English at Area15 has unveiled a new dessert menu. The new dishes crafted by English include the Goblet Ice Cream Sundae (with five scoops plus cotton candy, chocolate chip cookies, strawberry sauce, salted caramel and more), a skillet-baked pumpkin blondie, the Smokey S’more’s Root Beer Float and the Red Velvet Skull cupcake with chocolate ganache flambé and Nutella cream cheese frosting.
The Underground speakeasy and distillery at the Mob Museum has created two new flavors of its award-winning corn whiskey moonshine. The Goodfella’s Vanilla Moonshine, infused with Madagascar vanilla beans and brown sugar, and Peppermint Moonshine, obviously inspired by the season, are both available in 750- and 50-milliliter sizes at the Underground or online at store.themobmuseum.org.
Balla Italian Soul at Sahara has refreshed its menu for the season with new dishes and specialty cocktails now available. Among them are fennel and citrus salad, tuna crudo with sunchoke and black truffle, ravioli with honeynut squash, and the Manhattan Italiano libation made with High West rye, Courvoisier, Montenegro and Angostura bitters.
