Get ready for Naked City Tavern. Chef and restaurateur Chris Palmeri is getting ready to open the third location of his Naked City Pizza Shop on South Pecos Road in the space formerly occupied by the Blind Tiger bar. His trademark Buffalo-style pizza, wings and other menu staples will be available, but expect a more diverse menu focused on special dishes. It will also be bigger than the first two stores and will offer gaming. Business will continue as usual at the original Naked City, inside Moon Doggies on Arville Street, and at the Paradise Road location.

On January 26, longtime local favorite Nora’s Italian Cuisine broke ground on its new location at the northeast corner of Flamingo Road and Duneville Street, less than one mile east of the restaurant originally opened in 1991. Scheduled for completion in August, the new two-story restaurant will feature large private dining rooms, a wine cellar, an outdoor patio with bocce court and a new grill menu.

Aria refuses to stop opening new places to eat. Burger Lounge, a Southern California fast-casual burger chain, will open its first-ever Nevada location in March at the resort, replacing the Roasted Bean coffee spot near Aria’s poker room.
