These Pitchfork-approved Seattleites fiddle with synths, an 808 drum machine and a Game Boy to produce a texture to the 8-bit side of IDM—or maybe it’s the IDM side of 8-bit. Either way, tracks such as “Angels Sound Like Bottle Rockets” and “Super Copter” are as fun as their names suggest, and should be even more so live.
