Ingredients:
2 oz. Orinoco rum
1 oz. soda water
1 tsp. superfine sugar
4 Bing cherries, pitted
1 Key lime, quartered
1 sprig of mint
The mojito is becoming the modern-day Bloody Mary of sorts. Not just in its ability to provide some refreshing hair of the dog the morning after, but also because of its versatility—every bar/bartender can put his or her own personal touch on it. The Bing cherry variety is a perfect example while also the perfect summertime drink. After muddling all the fresh organics, mix in the rum and soda over cubed ice, then shake and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with mint and piece of sugar cane.
