PUMPKIN PIE MARTINI Noir Bar $20

INGREDIENTS:

1 oz. Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka

0.5 oz. Montecristo Spiced Rum

1.5 oz. Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Liqueur

2 scoops canned pumpkin-pie filling

1 oz. heavy whipping cream

1 oz. simple syrup

Combine ingredients with ice in a mixing glass and shake in a Boston shaker. Strain into a chilled, cinnamon- and graham cracker-rimmed cocktail glass, top with a dollop of Cool Whip and grate or sprinkle nutmeg on top.

“It’s like drinking a piece of pumpkin pie,” Noir mixologist Ken Hall says of his Thanksgiving creation. His colleagues say the veteran bartender became deeply interested in mixology in recent years and has worked with every manner of fresh sweet and savory ingredient known to barman. He is especially famous for his spot-on palate and for going out there to re-create every manner of dessert from his favorite, pumpkin pie, to a moist, spicy carrot cake.
