The winners are in (the hot tub)!

The challenge? Snap your best hot tub-a-dub moments with a bottle of The Grotto wine.

A few weeks ago, Chris Hammond and Sonny Barton of Rock ‘n Roll Wine challenged readers and drinkers to snap their best hot tub-a-dub moments with a bottle of their The Grotto wine and send them in for a chance to win a meet-n-greet with this Saturday’s Wine Amplified Festival’s headliners, Lifehouse.

“The contest was fantastic,” says Hammond, “and we were especially excited that we got submissions from out-of-state. I mean, c’mon, we had a guy take a picture with a blowup doll in a hot tub! We will definitely do it again in the future and well as come up with creative interactive promotions with [RnR’s white blend] Rhapsody as well.”

Cindy Hansen of Las Vegas won the Grotto Challenge for her pucker with a pooch.

Taking top honors as the random raffle prize winner and therefore claiming her meet and greet as well as four VIP tickets to the festival, a case of Rock ‘n Roll Wine and a stay over at Mandalay Bay is Cindy Hansen and her pooch smooch.

“The contest also confirmed our Grotto red blend as a ‘sexy-ass little vixen of a red wine,’” says Hammond.

Additional awards were given out for the photos themselves in the categories of most attractive/sexy, most humorous, most artistic and most outrageous, with winners receiving a set of two wine glasses by Riedel and two VIP tickets to Saturday’s festival. A special “WTF? Seriously, WTF?” category had to be added to accommodate a few of the more … outlandish submissions.

The fourth annual Rock ‘n Roll Wine Amplified Festival is this Saturday, September 26 at Mandalay Bay Beach. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets, info and a complete list of participating wineries is available at wineamplified.com.
