To honor Frank Sinatra’s birthday on December 12, I enjoyed a Sinatra Smash at Encore’s Sinatra Restaurant, which consisted of Gentleman Jack, Briottet Crème de Cassis, muddled fresh blackberries, fresh sweet-sour, and vanilla syrup over crushed ice. But Sinatra himself always stayed true to his Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7.
